Practice at the Mignot Memorial Hospital
Richard Ward Opticians are the recognised visiting opticians on Alderney.
We operate from fully equipped consulting rooms at the Mignot Memorial Hospital
(MMH) and we aim to offer you the same professional service that you would
expect from a High Street optician. We visit frequently, at least fortnightly,
and because our travel expenses are subsidised by the Health Authority there
is absolutely no price disadvantage.
Making an appointment to see us at the MMH could not be more simple:
you can either
'phone us or email us to arrange the time on our next regular visit or
pop into the Pharmacy in Victoria Street and they will make the appointment
on our behalf.
At the MMH we offer eye examinations for spectacles and contact lenses.
On display will be at least 120 different styles of frames and you can
choose from budget to the latest designer brands. If you have a repair
needed we can take care of that too.
Eye examinations are provided by Toby Howcroft M.C. Optom. B.Sc., with
dispensing, fitting and contact lens consultation provided by Richard Ward
FBDO. Normally we will have your spectacles ready for fitting and collection
at our next fortnightly visit but we can post out earlier if required and
similarly contact lenses are posted out - the same prompt service for all
our customers.
